NWOSU Foundation Release
The Northwestern Foundation and Alumni Association has launched a new-and-improved version of its website.
The new website features more intuitive menus and a better layout with easier navigation to frequently used pages. The menus are now drop-down style, presenting the user with a clearer path to their destination.
“Our new website is a significant improvement over the old one; it’s cleaner, more organized and much more user-friendly, helping us to stay current in today’s technology-driven society,” said Database and Research Manager Kylea Amerin.
Those familiar with the old website will note that it indeed looks similar to the old one. However, all the underpinnings have been built from the ground up with efficiency and ease-of-use in mind. One of the things kept especially in mind was compatibility with mobile phones and tablet devices. The address for the new website is my.nwfoundation.com.
“The new website is responsive, so it looks great on any device,” said Amerin. “It adjusts and caters to the user.”
According to Amerin, the website introduces features that until now have not been a possibility. Users can create their own profiles, update their contact information, view custom content and register for events ahead of time. A new “giving search tool” now allows users to make donations to a specific cause or scholarship, giving greater control where their funds are applied.
“I am excited about our new website and what it offers our alumni and donors. We now have the technology available with the features to help us keep in touch in a more efficient and streamlined fashion,” said Skeeter bird, CEO, Northwestern Foundation & Alumni Association. “It also allows greater flexibility for someone who wants to make a gift online.”
