13th Annual Art Show

Only a few weeks remain before the deadline to enter artwork into the 14th annual Northwestern Oklahoma State University Art Society (NAS) Art Show planned for March 5-31 in the J.W. Martin Library on the Alva campus.

Current students and employees, retired employees and alumni must submit their registration forms via the online or paper form by Feb. 22. An online form is available at www.nwosu.edu/art-show-form. Paper forms also are available at that link for those who prefer to fill out the registration by hand. Rules and specifications, as well as category descriptions also are available at this link.

All artwork must be delivered to the J.W. Martin Library on Wednesday, March 1, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Northwestern students will be able to win prize money if their art piece places within a category or division.

  • One Best of Show: $75
  • 25 Category winners: 1st-$15; 2nd-$5; 3rd-$2 (all places may not be awarded pending judge’s discretion)

One People’s Choice award of $50 and a ribbon will be selected by patrons visiting the show from among all entries. This cash prize may be won by a student or non-student entry.
