Northwestern Alumni Association Release
The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association is partnering with PCI to produce a printed alumni directory in 2013. In the coming weeks, PCI will be contacting Northwestern alumni via mail, email and phone to request that they update their information.
In addition to publishing a directory, the project allows the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association to receive important updates to the database so the association can stay connected and better serve current and future alumni.
“It is our hope that all alumni will participate in the directory project,” Lizabeth Richey, director of alumni relations, said. “It simply means a more complete directory and a better opportunity for our alumni to reconnect with classmates once the project is complete.
“Also, please contact our office with any questions or concerns. We will be happy to assist you and look forward to a wonderful new directory.”
When alumni receive a postcard or an email with a telephone number from PCI, they may call the number to speak with a dedicated representative for the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association project. The representative will verify all the information on file and make any updates where needed. When calling to update their information, alumni can tell the representative what information they would prefer to have excluded.
PCI, also known as Publishing Concepts, is a company located in Dallas, Texas, that publishes directories for educational institutions, fraternities, sororities and military organizations across the nation. The names, addresses and information provided to PCI by the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association for the publication of the directory will be held confidential by PCI. Upon completion of the project, PCI will return to the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association any and all electronic files that have been supplied by the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association or produced by PCI in connection with the production of the directory.
The Northwestern Oklahoma State University alumni directory is available for sale only to Northwestern Oklahoma State University alumni. The directory is being produced at no cost to the Alumni Association.
Alumni will have the option to reserve a copy of the directory when they call in to update their information. A number of packages are available for purchase with items such as a printed directory, a CD directory, a CD by Decade with alumni who graduated five years before and five years after an individual, alumni apparel, and airline certificates.
The directories will be distributed in December 2013. Northwestern’s last alumni directory was published in 2008.
