Sing in the holidays with Northwestern Oklahoma State University during the Holiday Spectacular concert, Saturday, Dec. 7, in Herod Hall Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
The annual concert is presented by the Northwestern ensembles. Led by Dr. Irene Messoloras, chair of the Department of Fine Arts, the University Chorale and University Singers will perform, to be followed by the Northwestern concert band and jazz band, led by Dr. Kenneth Drobnak, director of bands.
“We hope to remove you from the bustle of the holiday season in effort to calm and refresh your spirit,” Messoloras said.
The concert will feature a wide variety of traditional holiday songs.
This event is free and open to the public. Following the concert, Dr. Janet Cunningham, university president, will officially light the university Christmas tree.
